Safeguarding
Our commitment
The welfare of every child at White Rose Rugby Camps is our first priority. We aim to create a safe, welcoming environment where children can enjoy sport and feel supported.
Designated Safeguarding Lead
The Designated Safeguarding Lead for the camp will be confirmed in the parent information pack.
Staff conduct
All staff and volunteers are expected to follow clear conduct expectations, including appropriate one-to-one contact, communication and photography standards.
Reporting a concern
Any parent, guardian, child or member of the public who has a safeguarding concern is encouraged to raise it with the Camp Director or Designated Safeguarding Lead. Serious concerns will be escalated to the appropriate statutory agencies.
Photography
Photography is managed in accordance with the permissions selected by the parent or guardian at booking.
Emergency routes
In an emergency, camp staff will contact the emergency services and the child's registered emergency contacts as appropriate.
